Tim began his career in estate agency in 1991 working for John Eccles in Knutsford, Cheshire. He then went on to work in Altrincham and Sale in South Manchester. Building on this good professional grounding he relocated to West London where he worked for a large group agency becoming one of their top performing senior negotiators. Upon moving back to Cheshire in 1996, Tim joined a multi group agency based in Wilmslow. He was responsible for setting up their successful prestige department and later that same year moved to their head office in Chester to replicate the success there.
In 1998, driven by a clear vision of what an exceptional agency should be, Tim set up his own agency Rickitt Grant. The business rapidly achieved success and won The NAEA Best Independent Estate Agent in the North West Award in its first full year of trading. The business grew year on year and in 2007 was bought by Savills, where Tim remained consulting for Savills for a year. He then left to pursue other interests, including a three year spell living in New Zealand.
Tim returned to agency in 2013 setting up a prestige department for a multi group agent covering Cheshire and the Wirral, followed by a tenure working for a small independent. The desire to see his standards reflected at all levels of the business led Tim to launch Rickitt Partnership in 2017. Joined by his wife Emma, whose professional background is in law and branding consultancy and by Lucy Probert and Danielle Mullen, who both have extensive experience in the property and marketing industries, along with Ralph, who is Head of Customer Relationships, the whole team want to provide the kind of service they would wish to receive from an estate agent – personalised, intelligent and honest.

Special Note
Tim would like to apologise for his taste in haircuts and glasses in his younger years! He thought at the time he was “cool”. He now knows that this was and never will be the case.
